Man Sells His Soul On The Web - My ex Son in Law
Can you believe it? Someone is actually selling their soul, well their life kind of. Who would of thought of such an idiotic thing to do? My ex son in-law that’s who.
I couldn’t believe it when I came across this asinine story about a man selling his soul. The worst part was that it was my ex son in-law and how he is mis-leading the public to believe that the divorce from my daughter was really bad and hard. Well it also seems to read that she took him for all he was worth. Not so! Her life was hard also from the 5 years of being married to him and guess what she is doing just fine after being married to this loser. Good thing she has found someone that is much better and treats her like she is suppose to be treated!
Gerald Fraller was mentally abusive to my daughter. He was possessive and very controlling. He controlled the money, even hers. She worked and gave him her paycheck. He also cheated on her several times, once was before the wedding. It was my daughter that worked very hard at trying to save a marriage, at one time she truly loved him. On his “Win my Soul” website he describes the ordeal as “ I was shattered. I went from one of high points of my life to my lowest low in a matter of weeks. I lost my dream job (which I had sold my successful business to pursue), went through a bad divorce, and lost all of my savings.” I really don’t think there was a savings as trust me my daughter didn’t get any.
Gerald Fraller met my daughter on her 18th birthday March 24, 2000, and they were married August 11 that same year, before we left the UK in September of that year. What a rush it was also to have it. My husband and I didn’t like Gerald from the start, as there was something about him we just didn’t like, but there are many parents like that when their only daughter is leaving and getting married. No one is good enough, but we couldn’t have been so right.
He started being abusive in their first year of marriage. She fell down some stairs during an argument and he said she deserved it. Gerald threw her 4 times on their air mattress they where using as a bed which can still hurt, he also left bruising on her arms during the same argument which had to be covered up when she was a bride’s maid. He was starting to be very controlling also to her. She didn’t have access to all of the financial data. She should have been as Gerald would bring them down financially. He was always trying to come up with ideas for making money and placing them in debt. My husband and I helped on several occasions. One was when they first got married my daughter needed money for a class and that was $250. Then when she was attending college for Massage Therapy we were giving them about $700 a month for 5 to 7 months. I can’t remember, all I know is he bought a few things. One was a computer. So we stopped it as if you can’t afford things why purchase that? It was liked we bought it for him.
I noticed that he said he would sell things on eBay his personal items. Hmm, I wonder what he did with all of my daughter Jennifer’s possessions that he kept. Her class ring, her great grandmother’s jewelry, her baby book, and other personal possessions that he kept. In-fact, Jen got nothing from the divorce. She had to take out a loan to give him money at one time also when they had split up. While they were together in Utah he threw away all of her childhood stuff animals.
So now Gerald comes up with this idea about getting soul money, funny how this idea came after that person’s red paperclip idea. A scheming thing it is also, taking people’s money. Here he is giving a sob story and he made my daughter feel like nothing most of the time. Tearing her apart and telling her that her job was nothing since at that time it was a waitress job before she got jobs being a Massage Therapist. It was he who was bringing home the bacon sort of speak and she was worthless. Not to mention all the money making things he tried to do. Such as sell balloon bouquets over the internet. That was a losing idea as it was too costly to send them. Just order them from a florist. See he didn’t mention that lame brain idea. There was some dealings on eBay that I do not even want to mention!
My daughter has come through the Gerald ordeal with flying colors. She is a wonderful person and one of the best mothers I have seen. I should tell her more often, but at least I can tell the world. No, my grandson is not Gerald’s baby! Jen is a beautiful wonderful person that is engaged to someone very special who I think treats her so special and I know will not abuse her in any way or hide financial data from her. Marriage is supposed to have everything shared and they are off to a great start.
Gerald might do well or might not. I feel that all the bad stuff that had happened to him after my daughter left him was well deserving. Sorry, but hurting my daughter physically was wrong, I can think of a lot worse stuff that needs to happen to him for how she was treated. So go ahead world and think about what you are doing before donating money to a trickster.
Also Tobey Maguire please make sure all the facts are correct when you make the movie and those 5 years of marriage are depicted correctly. To Gerald if you have Jen’s items please be a man and send them to her, her baby book, her class ring, and other things that meant something to her. They are hers and you are wrong for keeping them.
Gerald can not even come up with an orginal idea, although he really wants make sure that people think it is really unique and original. Check out this - Man sells soul on eBay, eBay stopped this one bored geek from selling his soul, another story “I Sold My Soul on eBay -More on this guy selling his soul and telling about it plus writing a book (sounds familar doesn’t it if you read Gerald’s “Win My Soul” site)friendlyatheist.com. Of course, now it will make a rash of soul selling, once 1 person does others have to follow - Man needs money for Christmas and trys to sell soul on eBay. Then there is another one who sells his soul on eBay - selling your soul on eBay, plus in June 2007 man sells soul on an auction site. Bart sold his soul to Milhouse back in 1995, so whose idea came first? The writers of The Simpsons for making selling souls public nature. Then there are some more with small contractual soul selling or person owning on eBay and another one. If these get taken down I have the screen shots. Of course these are the most recent, once eBay finds out they can remove the action and usually does. EBay removing soul selling auctions.
With all the evidence this soul selling on the internet has been happening for some time, will it keep happening? Probably, the ability to take something and do ecommerce with it has brought selling certain items easier, even things that can not be seen. At Jezsta Web Productions we find this “selling souls” on the web rather insulting to the people. What needs to be done is say hey send me money, I am a loser who can’t hold a job, don’t have money for Christmas, need extra cash, etc. to those people who just want to throw away their money. Before people do send money they need to rethink things and wonder why this person is actually begging instead of working hard like they did to earn the money.
So can selling a soul be a legal binding contract? Will someone just waste their money if they try and buy one? Of course you can’t see a soul then how can someone have it to give? I went on a search to find an answer to see if this can be a legal binding contract to do. So I found this - Are soul selling contracts legal? Can a person get away with selling their soul?
If a person’s soul can actually be bottled up it can not be sold on eBay as it will fall under one can’t sell human parts clause anyway, but since you can’t bottle it one still isn’t allowed to sell their soul on eBay cause it really doesn’t exist in a tangible form. Now one can see why Gerald knew why he couldn’t use eBay and used a website to try and sell his life reallly and not his soul, he stole someone’s idea and used it in a different way. Also if you think about it on a moral Christian point of view if this action does sell his soul I suppose the devil will be pretty angry as Gerald’s soul would be doomed for hell but he wouldn’t have it.
